Flick was kissing me. His hot lips were pressed against mine and it was the best feeling in the world.

But I shouldn’t have been doing it.

My brain screamed at me to push him away and I put in a small effort. Sort of. I placed my hands on his shoulders and got ready for the big shove, but then his tongue skimmed my bottom lip and, without my say-so, my lips parted like the Red Sea.

The tingling I’d been fighting for well over a week tore through me so fast, my body took control before I could.

My screaming brain wasn’t loud enough to fight my pounding heart and the hungry desire firing through me.

Before I knew what was happening, Flick had picked me up and pressed me against the wall. My legs wrapped around his waist, only tightening when his confident fingers dug into my legs.

Don’t do this.

My brain tried one more time, but my mouth countered with a kiss that turned my inside voice to static noise.

I’d been wanting him for weeks and my body was determined not to let logic stop me.

Flick pulled me to his door. There was a beep, a click. I couldn’t be sure which order. All I could think about was lips, body, skin.

The second the heavy door slammed shut behind us, Flick yanked the towel off my shoulders. It slapped to the ground and the noise should have woken me from whatever trance I was locked in. But it didn’t work. Hot kisses trailed along my collarbone as my bikini straps were pushed aside. My body should have tensed then, reminded me of my first time and how awkward it was.

But Flick’s tongue doused my fears with an irresistible desire.

The second my butt hit the bed I started yanking off his clothes. I needed his skin, had to run my hands over his arms and chest. I didn’t know who’d possessed me in that moment, and I didn’t care. All I wanted was for Flick to extinguish the heat that had been burning and tingling inside my body every time I was around him…or even thought about him.

And he did.

On a scale I never thought possible.

It was a mind-blowing experience that could be compared to nothing else.

My chest heaved as I floated back from whatever planet I’d been orbiting. I reentered earth’s atmosphere, my racing heart falling back into a normal rhythm…and it was only then that my senses came back online. Like a computer booting up, my brain worked through a systems check, and when it finally registered that I was naked beneath Flick Newmarch, I let out a strangled gasp and shoved him off me.

“Whoa.” He rolled onto his side and looked at me like I’d slapped him.

“What did we just do?” I snatched a pillow and hugged it to my torso, covering my naked bits so he couldn’t ogle them.

“I…” He panted, his mouth opening and closing as he struggled to form a response.

“We…we didn’t even use protection!” I practically screamed.
